Remote Learning Y4

Class 4D have taken to remote leaning like they have been doing it for terms! They are experts at using the different zoom functions and it has been amazing to see the class still being able to produce excellent work and make progress remotely.

Sir David Attenborough...

We have finished our biography on Sir David Attenborough and have continued to be inspired by him. We took part in the Big Bird watch at the weekend then wrote some expressive nature/bird poems, we watched Sir David Attenborough’s ‘witness statement’ documentary, researched problems with plastic pollution and wrote a letter to Sir David Attenborough! We cannot wait to see if we get a reply and really hope that we do!

Class 4D have been learning about Greece. Click the pictures in the gallery to see a few examples of some amazing work...

It has been a triumphant half term for class 4D who won the Delta winter battles on TT Rocks Stars. The whole class have worked incredibly hard to improve their times tables and as a result were the highest scoring class in Delta. A particular well done to Daniel T (first place), Daniel H (second place), James C (third place) for outstanding performances.

Here is some fabulous feedback from parents in Class 4D

“I just wanted to pass on my feedback re Mrs Digpal. She has been absolutely amazing with the online school work. My child has settled in really well to the new routine and is working hard and enjoying the lessons. The level of input we’ve had from her has made it so much easier for parents. I don’t know how she is managing to do this so well and at the same time teach the key worker children she has in class – super impressed. We are so grateful to have her at this time as I know friends with children of similar ages in the area have not had this level of teaching from their schools. Please pass on my thanks.”
